This course is designed for science majors or pre-professional students and includes the anatomy, physiology, and development of the higher plants and their importance. The successful student will have a strong high school background in chemistry and biology, or a college level course in biology. The course earns General Education credit under the Biological Sciences category for which successful students will demonstrate the skills necessary to understand and apply scientific concepts and reasoning, including the analysis and interpretation of various types of data. The laboratory consists of selected experiments which correlate with the lecture. |
