| This course provides an introduction to microbiology with emphasis on the role of bacteria, virus, and fungus in human health and disease. It includes principles of microbial biology and classifications; growth, metabolism, and genetics. It also includes microbial pathogenesis and epidemiology; infection control, immunology, and antibiotic drugs; and a survey of infectious diseases. |
