Participants will complete a series of experiences designed to give prospective teachers a perspective on the varied backgrounds of students in public, charter, or accredited private schools. Field experience is a vital part of the EPI program. First through guided observation and later through participation by teaching a lesson, the participant will gain insight into the work of a teacher, the interactivity of the classroom, and the dynamics of the instructional process.
